Common guide bracket failure makes it difficult or impossible to operate the driver's side window. With this repair kit, you will repair your damaged window class guide.
Our repair kit consists of one repair bracket made from a stronger material, 3 rivets, and one drill bit. You will need an electric drill and a pop rivet tool, in addition to the tools to remove your interior door panel.
Our guide repair solution - a connection bracket that will be riveted into the position just above the damaged one. The height of the replacement bracket is calculated accurately. After the repairs are done, the window glass guide will be in the same position as the original one once was.
The rubber guide insulation should be removed from the guide to prevent damage. The new repair component will be placed just above the remaining portion of the broken mount and secured with masking tape or any other means. Two existing larger holes in the area of the fractured or missing mount can be easily identified on the guide. The repair component should be aligned against them. The locations of the three smaller holes on the repair bracket should be marked on the guide to be drilled out. The Drill bit is included. The rivets for securing of the new repair bracket should be installed from the inside of the window guide, pointing.
