Replace bent or broken portion of your front hood hinge on Volvo 240 of any year production. You will need a die grinder and a pair of glasses to protect your eyes. Remove the rivet from the hinge bracket mounting point and install a repair kit that we are making. We added a bronze bushing to act like a bearing on the hinge. This will help you to open the hood and close the hood if you forget to lubricate the hinge, and only change oil once per year
The bracket we are making is not painted, so you will need to paint it to the color of your Volvo, or paint it black.
