This is heater hose assembly upgraded with all metal clamps that are holding rubber hoses attached to the plastic connectors .
The original heater hose that you are about to replace with the upgrade was assembled by molding plastic and rubber parts together .Simple LOGIC suggests some sort of better assembly strategy .
